Some time ago The Pilgrims Gaze presented a collection of drone movies of several villages and cathedrals. You can see them here.

As popularity of drone usage rises, more movies will appear.

As popularity of walking the camino rises.... ;-)

Today some additions.

The first one is a famous location on the Camino Frances, the location of Dave, the Casa de los Dios in San Justo de la Vega.

Russia Velikoretsky Procession

The revival of pilgrimage isn't a local phenomenon. I like to introduce you to one of the many Russian pilgrimage sites:
the Velikoretsky Procession of the Cross.

A large route where pilgrims walk about 150 kilometers

following the icon of St Nicolas / St Nicolay.

Camino Frances, just the real thing...

Long but impressive impression of a Camino Frances, walked in April 2015.

Experience it, see the scenery, hear people's motives, go shopping, enter mass and albergue, have a cafe con leche, enjoy the music, buen camino...

Knowing that this structure is here, as a way of working through life transitions, gives me some peace...
